Gundam 00 Headcanon 5/?
Oct. 13th, 2015 11:42 pm People remember where they were when Aeolia Schenberg’s message aired, or when they first heard about it–not everyone has a TV, obviously, but everyone eventually got word and everyone remembers when.
Fifty years later, Louise and Saji tell the next generation’s kids about standing around that big-screen TV in their school, casually curious and baffled all at once. Over such a distance of years, it seems to them that the moment had some deep significance, that they somehow knew it would change everything.
But really, at the time, Saji was nervous but sure that this would blow over, that the old man on television was making promises he wouldn’t be able to keep. And Louise was more worried about the test she had later that week than some grainy footage full of dramatic pronouncements.
Everyone remembers, because, at the time, everyone thought it was weird, a story to tell their children for sure. And it was. But it was a different story than they expected.
